Jawline tightening
For a more defined jawline, without surgery.
HIFU is used for non-surgical tightening around the jawline and lower face. At your free suitability check, Gia checks your skin, your goal and whether it suits you before suggesting the right area to treat.
- Jawline HIFU currently £199.
- Full face HIFU currently £299.
- Results develop gradually over the following weeks.
Is it right for you?
For anyone wanting more definition, without surgery.
You might be weighing up your options for jawline definition, a firmer lower face, a double chin or early signs of skin loosening. You're welcome to ask about any of them.
At your free suitability check Gia keeps things realistic, working out whether HIFU is right for you and whether jawline-only or full face makes more sense for what you want.

Individual results vary. HIFU results are gradual and usually develop over the following weeks and months.

Your appointment
How the treatment actually goes.
- 01
Free suitability check
Gia looks at your skin quality and how much laxity there is, and tells you honestly whether HIFU will do what you are hoping for. If it will not, she will say so.
- 02
Getting set up
Your skin is cleansed and the treatment areas are marked out so the coverage is even. Ultrasound gel goes on, much like a scan.
- 03
The treatment
The handpiece works across the marked areas in lines, delivering energy at several depths — shallow for fine lines, deeper for lifting. Nothing touches or breaks the surface of the skin.
- 04
Finishing up
Gel off, and you are done. No recovery time, and you can put make-up on straight away if you want to.
What you will feel. Warmth, tingling, and the occasional sharper pulse as the ultrasound heats the deeper layers. Areas near bone, like the jawline, are more sensitive. Each pulse lasts a moment, and Gia adjusts the settings if anything feels too much.
How long it takes. 30 to 90 minutes depending on the areas treated. Skin may look flushed for a few hours and feel tender for a day or so.
What to expect
When will you actually see something?
HIFU works by prompting your own collagen, so the change arrives over months rather than days. That is what makes it look like you rather than like a treatment.
- Straight after
Around one in five people notice a slight tightening on the day. If you do not, nothing has gone wrong — the work is happening underneath.
- Weeks 2–8
Collagen production ramps up. There is often little to see during this stretch, which is the part that takes patience.
- Months 2–4
The clearest change. Skin looks firmer and more lifted, and because it arrived gradually people tend to say you look well rested rather than treated.
- Months 4–6
Still developing as the new collagen matures, with the peak usually around three to four months.
The effect typically holds for somewhere between six and eighteen months, depending on your age, your skin and how your body makes collagen. Ageing carries on underneath, so it fades gradually rather than stopping suddenly. Results vary from person to person.

Why here
Why people choose this clinic.
One person, start to finish
Gia does your suitability check, your patch test and your treatment. You are not handed between people, and whoever assessed you is the person holding the machine.
Told honestly if it will not work
If a treatment is not right for your skin or what you are hoping for, you will be told at the check — before you have paid for anything.
The price before you commit
Your exact price is confirmed at the suitability check. The £25 deposit that holds your slot comes off it, and there is nothing added afterwards.

Do I pay anything to book?
The suitability check itself is free. We ask for a £25 deposit to confirm your slot, and it comes off the price of your treatment. If the check shows the treatment is not right for you, the deposit is refunded in full. It is only kept if you do not turn up.
Does HIFU hurt?
It is uncomfortable rather than painful. You feel warmth, tingling and occasionally a sharper sensation as the ultrasound heats the deeper layers. Areas close to bone, like the jawline, are naturally more sensitive. Each pulse lasts only a moment, and Gia can adjust the settings if any area feels too intense.
How many sessions will I need?
Most people have one treatment per area, and the result develops over the months that follow as collagen builds. Some choose an annual top-up to keep on top of it. Results vary from person to person.
Is HIFU safe?
HIFU has been used cosmetically since 2010 and is well researched. It is non-invasive, and side effects such as redness, tenderness or tingling are temporary. It is not suitable during pregnancy, or if you have a pacemaker, among other contraindications — which is exactly what the suitability check is for.
How is it different from a surgical facelift?
A facelift is surgery: anaesthetic, recovery, and a cost in the thousands, but a dramatic and long-lasting change. HIFU is non-surgical with no downtime, works gradually over two to six months, and the effect lasts a matter of months rather than years. It suits mild to moderate laxity, not severe sagging.
Can HIFU be used on the body?
Yes. As well as the face and neck, we treat areas such as the armpits, above the knees, the backs of the arms, the inner thighs and the hips. Ask Gia at your suitability check and she will price the area for you.
What does HIFU Jawline help with?
HIFU is used for non-surgical tightening and lifting around the jawline and lower face. Suitability depends on your skin and goals.
How quickly do HIFU results show?
Results are gradual and can continue developing over the following weeks and months. Gia will discuss realistic expectations before treatment.
Should I choose jawline or full face?
You do not need to decide before booking. Gia can compare jawline-only and full face HIFU at your suitability check.
Is there downtime?
Many clients return to normal routine after treatment, but aftercare and suitability should be discussed with Gia before booking.
